Description
Wellbutrin is one of the best prescription antidepressant in the market. It is used to treat major depressive disorder and seasonal affective disorder.
Directions for Intake:
- Wellbutrin is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
- Consume the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
- It is best not to take this medication near bedtime
- Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
- In case of Wellbutrin overdose, seek medical attention immediately

- Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat and should not be accessible to children.

Side Effects:
- Mild side effects include dry mouth, headache, increased sweating, nausea/vomiting, constipation, anxiety, fatigue, and blurred vision

Precautions:
- Consult your doctor before taking Wellbutrin. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
- Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications: astemizole (Hismanal), cisapride (Propulsid), triazolam (Halcion), midazolam (Versed), antacids, stomach acid reducers, and stomach ulcer medicines.
- Inform your physician of any previous experience of having epilepsy or a seizure disorder , eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia , liver or kidney disease, and any allergies to medication
- This medication may cause increased suicidal tendencies
- This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
- Elderly patients may be more sensitive to the effects of Wellbutrin
- If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Wellbutrin
- If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Wellbutrin
